Lighten up would ya, its a GAME. Does a game really have to be a hardass over this? You don't need to get a BiS gear piece, every time. Just something to make the time spent feel worth it. With all classes available you still have long term goals, and you can put tomestones, and allagan money pieces in the loot too.

Considering the length of time between patches, and that we won't be getting more CT until patch 2.3, I think its totally intend that it take a few months to get every single piece of gear for every job. Besides, its still way faster than myth. If you could get 1 item per boss, you could nearly complete a full set per week, easily.They should have a system where a player can have a chance to win loot on each boss. If the player wins the loot from the first boss then he/she will be locked out of the loot for the first boss only. This pattern would continue on to the 2nd boss and all the way up to the final boss.
As of now, the system that is in place would require you to spend over half a year in CT before you finally get all pieces of gear from this part of the CT.

And remember myth is raised to 450. So with no "top level" gear added, almost every to on will have 1 if not 2-3 classes in ilvl 90 myth by the time 2.2 is released. So CT at this point really is just vanity.



Even with your previous example, if a guild was dedicated to rapid gearing (like most of the bleeding edge ones are) theres nothing stopping them from making alts right now and doing it anyways. It makes these restrictions look silly in comparison when you can just sidestep them entirely with an alt because of how heavily restricted they made the armoury system.you would not be saying that if you finished everything the game has to offer in 2 weeks and you have to sit with your thumb in a warm place for 3 months until 2 more weeks worth of content came out.
not trying to white knight, because im not sure i like the game myself for my own reasons... but name me one game that launched (post race to max level era) with enough content to sustain everyone unrestricted for months.
I already barely have anything to do because I won't be allowed to do much with my other jobs if I do finish leveling them. There really hasn't been anyone suggesting it be unrestricted either with the exception of the peanut gallery trying to be ironic. This all boils down to your character containing 9 jobs which other games don't have. I can understand not wanting to make it exactly like having 9 alts rolled into one but really, there's no give at all currently. If someone wants to tunnel vision 1 job until they have nothing else to do its not everyone else's problem that they want to ignore the rest of the game.
You should have one NEED lock out a week, but not one loot lock out a week. That idea is absolutely asinine with a RNG system. You could run CT 10 times and not even get something for your main class while holding your loot and wasting many items over and over again. I would not mind a ONE LOOT rule if it was a token system. That would make sense.... but it is not the case.

Wasn't that hard at all. DId it twice now, start to finish, in under an hour. Yes, there were wipes, but people listened, learned, and triumphed in the end. In fact, it was still a huge cluster f--- with loads of mistakes and not really clean at all and I still manged to clear it twice... in DUTY FINDER. Perhaps a tad more patience?the amount of time and cordination spent on that dungeon is staggering we did not even finish it but jesus >.< not even worth the time and effort the migraine that CT requires I am sorry but takes extremely long time to accomplish a single boss kill that guess what gives 1 item each ......


You are getting tomes, gold, and having fun. THAT MAKES THE DUNGEON WORTH IT. Your not entitled to an item every run. Get over it. Your right it is a game, they aren't being hardasses by not handing items to you. Problem with that example is that even with a small percentage chance of getting something you still have that chance in a week you could get three items or none. But there is always a chance.
My favorite part of the community is the following:
1. I can get 1 loot and then nothing more in a week? Then I won't do it.
2. There is a 0.1% chance I can get loot? Ok, I'll go do the dungeon 24/7 because I love loot!
In other words, people are willing to redo dungeons for no reward at all, as long as they think there is a slim chance at winning a jackpot bonus reward. SE should simply abuse this fact and say that you have 1% chance to be allowed to lot on loot after your first won loot. That way people would redo the dungeon over and over because they have a fraction of a chance to get 2 or 3 drops a week. Most wouldn't get any more, but they'd redo the dungeon some 20 times or more and help others just because of their own delusions of chance.
Have you ever been in coil? I mean its true you get 50 myth tomes per turn in there but honestly its so fast to cap myth in this game that myth tomes are hardly a reward as it is. You can go 5-6 weeks in coil and not see a thing drop, 5-6 runs in CT could be done in a night if you're motivated.
