Tri-disaster is 25y range, 5y spread and a 20sec bind.
As far as utility Eye for an eye is always useful, the more of them the better. Virus is very useful without the buff that arcanist has, most things aren't magic. Sleep can be useful but yeah not in coil.
Lul Eye for an Eye doesn't stack. And and a CHANCE that the mob will do 10% less damage was always a joke imo.
I actually do remember that. But you know everyone will always ask for a source. Another thing to throw out there just for vanity reasons I suppose:
Motions and effects have been changed for the following:
Player Actions
Overpower / Holmgang / Shadow Flare / Jump / Spineshatter Dive / Dragonfire Dive / Flash / Holy
So I understand Holmgang since the effect is different now and pulls enemies towards the caster, and drg since animation times are shortened. But the other abilities seem to have a new animation just for vanity, if that\\'s the case why can\\'t we have a better animation for Freeze ? It was quite nice looking in XI and even in 1.0, 2.0 it looks pretty weak and underwhelming.
No it doesn't but with 4 players having a rotation you can keep it on the tank for long extended periods of time, making the it have a high % of up time. In my experience in coil it has very good up time, and very useful.
A CHANCE to apply a 20 sec debuff that reduces the mob's damage dealt by 10% for its entire duration. If you don't think that's any good you should stick to basic dungeons such as WP.
Frankly, if they made lethargy actually useful I'd not care about any of the other changes. I will miss my flare spamming, but c'est la vie.
More than anything I am just annoyed that the devs gave classes traits and abilities that essentially have no use in endgame activities. It smacks of laziness. "We can't balance for blind or slow, so everything at end game will just be immune to it!"
As a raid leader i have to disagree. Virus CD is pretty damn high, so its best to have it down in a rotation. The changes in 2.1 will make it less necessary for a 3rd virus user, however, fights with multi targets (every single fight except for turn 2) will still mean a BLM's virus can still be of use. same goes for rotating eye for an eye when needed.Lets see,
AoE Sleep: Does it work in Coil or end game content? no? Worthless.
Eye for an eye & virus: u haz smn & sch in group? why u cast weak virus? Add to it eye for an eye is already taken care of.
In reality, BLM in Coil is a damage bot, this is fine. Just please stop pretending we haz utility that we can actually help with outside your fun super hard WP SR.
Edit: I'm not complaining btw, I'm just tired of this misconception. I love my BLM, just please stop BS us and trying to tell us what our job can or can't do, we know better.
Give me stun ala FFXI BLM and i'll be a happy camper. It is the thing I miss the most being able to do as blm. stun > silence
BLM is more about the DPS, but I would like to see more things added for them.
Lol it's just a basic weak skill imo. I use it but I very much dislike it. 10% gtfo. Simmer down little smn.
