To an extent. Rarity of a Type A widget and its demand vs Type B widget means more than whether or not I can make said widget myself. But I haven't sank an even -greater- amount of time in to crafting so what do I know, right? Since craft level is indicative of wealth, apparently lol.
Sound simple right? But how do you determine the true value of that Type A widget and Type B widget? Give you an example, if you havn't take weaver job before you will not understand why fleece is so expansive. If you never get to lvl 50 crafting before you will not know what's crafting 2 star looks like.To an extent. Craft level isn't indicative of wealth, but it doesn't mean you don't need it at all to back up what you said.
Under your logic, a level 1 DoM/DoW can claim they are the best in Coil Turn 5 right? Since level isn't indicative of their knowledge, apparently.
Battle class level bars a person from content. Craft class level doesn't bar a person from the market. You only need an entry amount (the gil from leveling is more than enough) and watch the selling trends. I'm not the only one to bypass crafting to wealth, nor was I the first, the last, or hold some great secret.Sound simple right? I think the only reason I do not craft in this game or even look at a market board is because of my RL job. I own my own retail store, so I do enough market planning, buying from suppliers, price adjustments, market trending and logistics to make me blue in the face. Nah . . . I make plenty of gil running around healing a group or killing enemies and looting them . . . . much the same way as i wish i could Stone II a customer in real life . . .Battle class level bars a person from content. A level 1 DoM/W can claim he watch all the video on youtube and read all the strategy post regarding the boss fight and he know every single one of the mechanic, right? Under your logic, you don't have to craft a single item but you can also claim you know exactly how crafting 2 star looks like and you understand how valueable certain material is w/o even using one before?! Fail logic is fail logic, stop pretending and if you spend half the time QQing and raging about the house price and how time consuming it is to make gil, you would've be 100k closer. And only if 1000 of those QQer do that, they would've made it 100m closer.Battle class level bars a person from content. Craft class level doesn't bar a person from the market. Lol what? I'd like for you to re-read this current argument of yours and see where 'fail logic' applies. Regardless of what the item does, its demand and rarity mean more than having first hand experience using it with regards from profiting from it. There are countless non crafters who have succeeded.A level 1 DoM/W can claim he watch all the video on youtube and read all the strategy post regarding the boss fight and he know every single one of the mechanic, right?
