let the abuse begin

I've seen a lot of abuse for not have that option. People pulling mobs to kill the party just for fun. People going afk just to bother other players, or to let other players do the conten so they coud get some tomestones (This happened a lot in Castrum). People running nude on dungeons to have fun bothering other players....Abusing of their impunity.


I seriusly doubt we woud se more abuse with a "kick" option that can't be used more than once for each 4 hours...

it said that more than half of the people have to vote to kick someone. that means in a party of 4, 3 people have to be voting yes, which i dont necessarily see happening too often. will it get abused some, absolutely, but as also stated in the notes, you can be punished for abusing the system and leaving has a 30 min. wait now instead of 15. so basically you have to have 3 jerks in a party to kick out one person. will it happen? sure, but probably not at an alarming rate. we shall see!

I saw this system in WoW. And I rarelly saw anyone kick anyone. Mostly people kicked othe rplayers that flamed or were mean to each other.

Or you can be a jerk in hopes of getting kicked out of bad titan groups, wp slow runs, etc.

I read some where that it's a 30 min timer before you can queue again? That's ridiculous and forces bad parties to keep zerging content because no one wants to take the timer hit.

The kick system might be like the one in Tera where everyone had to agree and if someone was kicked they didn't suffer the timeout penalty that I ever heard.

you can only initiate a Vote Kick every 4 hours, which means less abuse. If you abuse it (like kicking a person for being new) you can and likely WILL be reported (as it will probably show a Yes or No vote on the screen not just a number).

They will likely TRACK Vote Kicks, and the reasons you're selecting to kick someone. If you abuse it, you may find yourself locked out of initiating, all the way to an actual temporary or permanent ban of your account from play.

Also, a person KICKED from a party doesn't suffer the Penalty of the 30 minute timer. They can queue up right away.

Same system as DCUO, it got abused to death because players kept kicking roles they didn't want or if they weren't geared enough to their liking.

Well, that looks dangerous for pick up partys. But... That is surely an abuse of the system, so I suppose will have a punishment.
