Actually Personal House and FC Housing will provide different benefits.
FC Hosuing gives benefits for DoH(such as High chance of crafting HQ items), exp, gil and anything more community based. Personal Housing provides more personal thing like stat boosts and stuff.
i do sadly think that they listen to the japanese player base more than others ... so thank you for this link!... clicked like! ^^v
I agree the plots of land are too high!
We do live in the same world. And technically, the same world is the same way. Those who don't put in effort won't earn a big nice home on the beach lol. I hate the prices too. But at the same time i'm not bitching all 'I want it now'. And in my opinion 'white knighting' are those who are jumping up at arms to make things so available right HERE AND NOW for the masses.... and the same masses once they get the shit 'here and now', will later on be complaining about how it was too easy to obtain, and thereby not worth it.
Players really don't even understand their own wants and desires to the point its kinda lulzworthy.
So... Free Company has no benefits, since HQ rates are at-or-near 100% anyway, and Personal Housing gives actual benefits, like increased Determination?
Perhaps SE should publish a report on the actual state of the economy in the game. Maybe if we all knew just how much Gil was on a given server, it would make it easier to understand why the prices are set so high. It's a reasonable question to ask "isn't the price too high?".
Personally, I just think most people are a little upset because they thought that the 800k that we saw on the test/development version wasn't the actual result, and that it ended up being several times more than that. The prices will come down over time as the amount of gil in circulation comes down, I would think. For now, most of us will just have to look at the rich FCs with a hint of jealousy and contempt. Nothing like a little reality injected into your MMO.
That's the problem. How much gil on a given server is irrelevant when the RMT are still here spamming their sales. They horde billions of gil/gold/platinum/whatever the current currency is. Their farmers continue to farm going unpunished. Heck, there's bots people reported since day 1 that are mining underground that are still here and farming with no ban in sight. How much gil did that one bot make alone? Factor in the hundreds of others and that's where most of the gil on a server belongs.Perhaps SE should publish a report on the actual state of the economy in the game. Note it's not just one company. Look at the RMT spam. There's multiple different companies that are working on the same game on each server. There's where the majority of the gil is and factoring that into how much the average fc/player has.. is ridiculous.

900+ likes. But its just a vocal minority, right fanboys?
I'm sorry but this pricing just doesn't correlate to the "small group" design. Sure, I fully support the option of very expensive palatial estates for those FCs that are high end. I would love to tour one of those houses to see how the "other half" live.
That said, there's not really a decent option for small FCs of adventuring and internal crafting friends that spend time making each other items and not really playing the market. Our group strives to be self reliant... this pricing model really doesn't allow for that. We would be forced to play the market to raise the capital for a house... and that is not our gaming style.
TLDR: Give the hardcore and high end earners amazing housing options for the rest of us to drool over- but don't leave the small family-style FCs in the streets!
