If SE sees that no one is buying land, they'll adjust the prices just like how they adjusted repair fees.

That's very possible, even likely. So... who's going to be crazy enough to buy? Will you guys, knowing it'll, in theory, be cheaper sooner or later? That seems silly to me.

This isn't about entitlement, this is about scope and messages sent in subtext. I don't know, maybe I'm spoiled by RIFT, but is it spoiling to treat your local superheroes like something more than homeless bums that have to "earn it" to be otherwise? To let players express themselves through housing? These prices are an ungodly imposition upon existing FCs. No one should have to hand over this much gil for a shared project, and the shelf for housing should not be this high. I have never, ever known any MMORPG to place their housing features, FC/guild or otherwise, on such a ridiculous, imposing shelf!

Dude, like I mentioned already, my FC actually already has the gil for a small house and we have like 15 active members. Another FC on our server (with more members of course) has 30 mil for their housing fund. I have 1.2 mil without actually making any kind of effort to actually farm. Getting the cheapest house isn't hard, the people complaining in this topic just aren't willing to make any kind of effort to accrue gil.

You know what my guild leaders said when they saw the price of the large plots of land and compared it to our now measly 6.5 mil fund? They said "If we actually focus on it we can get enough gil for a large plot of land in a month or two. It gives us something to work for." Compare that to this guy:

Its very possible that we might end up just settling on a smaller house, and if SE later on reduces housing fees all the better for us, but the bar for the smaller plots of land isn't anywhere near as high to justify the whining in this thread.

The Large houses? Sure. Those aren't accessible to everyone, but I don't see a problem with rewarding FC's that accumulate gil compared to the ones that refuse to make an effort.

Maybe somewhere along the line SE will provide wellfare housing to the adventurers that can't make any gil.

We farmed for 2 months. We farmed fleece crafted HQ mats to sell and saved as best we could. I also farmed titan heart, garuda feather, and ifrit horn. So go bend over stick it in your mouth and choke.

Oh I just realized your server is on welfare pricing section 8 compared to my server. You are used to your entitlement pricing and don't understand how working gamers have to pay.

I guess you skipped the part where I said if you were on a Legacy server you'd have reasons to complain. But I shouldn't be surprised.
