If you don't want to play the game, the door is that way. SE has said that they will monitor the prices of the housing, and they have been good at listening to player feed back so far.

There's the door. There are DOZENS of other mmorpgs out there you can go spew your QQ over because you don't agree with something the developers have done.

With all the dungeon/token farming, recycled content being "remixed" as new, dungeon lock outs, and now item lock outs in CT; I feel like I'm playing a F2P MMO again. This is all stuff you see hidden behind pay walls in a F2P game, or to be onerous enough to encourage you to get a "gold" subscription to a game.

Except I'm already paying to play this game. And content is constantly being withheld. And it's being withheld for no reason other than to tease out it's longevity. That can't last. Just feeding us the same bosses over and over again, or by "balancing" difficulty by reducing the effectiveness of the classes, or just making goals exceedingly expensive in both gil and time consumption to reach isn't going to maintain a playerbase.

I'm not quitting. I'm tired of trying to find my 'next' MMO to play. I'm just super unhappy with the game, it's direction, and the apparent lack of both inspiration from the team and appreciation of their existing player base.

And just a short P.S., I'm not asking for easier content. I'm not asking to be handed anything. I want to play through difficult dungeons, that require team work and coordination, that require time and effort to learn and master, and ultimately have rewards that warrant the work. This isn't what's happening.

Some people are complaining that prices are too high because they want it now. Others, like the OP of this thread, are worried about RMT because of the high prices. The prices being this high is like opening an amusement park for RMT. With the ribbon they get to cut with the big scissors and everything. People will be buying RMT "services" because they want the pretty FC house right this second. And they know someone's sisters cousin's best friend who buys from RMT all the time and never gets caught.

But what they forgot to mention is they didn't use the security token, and their account got hacked. So now that RMT is on thier account shouting their service and selling items for cheap on the MB, and then some innocent player comes along and buys or sells something, unknowingly from RMT and the innocent player gets punished for it.

Then they come here on the forums wondering what happened, and the general response is "lol u bought from rmt newb". So you can probably expect to see these posts more often.

I hear ya man, I can't even enjoy the previously lovely sounds of hanging out in Coerthas. I did like half a crafting leve and logged out. Downgraded to "entry" sub, and am... thinking.

These patch notes don't feel like something I want to look forward to. I'm going to have to tell my FC that we can't get a house because we can't afford it. I have a lot of new players that are good people, but just not financially established and I have a lot of older players that spent their time helping others and not farming gil. It almost feels like a punishment to them for choosing fun and helping each other over grinding out gil. We aren't a large FC, but I guess we should've been to be able to afford something like a house sometime in the next 3-6 months.

Put simply, the way housing is being done right now excludes the vast, overwhelming majority of the playerbase to strike a futile blow in the war against cash-hoarding, whether by perfectly innocent legit players or RMT.

This content was advertised as being worthy of its own expansion, yet it will be unplayable for many months to nine out of ten players.

Do you know any gillionaires? I don't. Most cash we've got in my FC is eight mil.
