    So our solution is ruin 1/2 because well, what will you do to offset some of the damage? Let me say right up, this is a nerf.. and I hate it. But we need to make the best out of a situation. I think that's what Tano is trying to do. While we won't recover all the dmg we're losing from Thunder, we can atleast recoup -some- of it.

    Total dmg I do on a full rotation of dots (bio, bio2, miasma, miasma 2, shadowflare, thunder) is average 3930 w/o any crits. (yeah, lots of time at the dummies to get this).

    Let's round it up to 4000 for easy math. What is 10% of 4000? 400, my thunders are 600 minimum dmg. See the math?

    Yeah I noted that extra nuisance, I don't know how slower it will be, I guess they did that more for 2 PLD setup, but it may influence what I have to play in some instances indeed.

    Guys...what do you make of this?

    The following changes have been made to pet actions:
    ...
    When set to Obey and Steady, pets will only execute actions when commanded, and will remain in the Steady stance.
    Does this mean Garuda is useless now also? But why would the devs be so dumb to make STeady and Obey basically the same...IDGI. Hope its a translation error.

    Unlike most summoners here I already spammed ruin1/ruin2 so basically thunder is just gone through an entire fight its equates to about 10% of my total dps on twin with crits could be around 15%/

    thats what i say, just simply replace it with ruin to fix that little dps lost.
    Sure, it won't be the same damage, but it's not the end of the world for smn.

    Don't put Miasma II in there unless you're fighting more than one mob. For one you'll have to be close to the mob and, secondly, it's overall potency is worse than ruin. That being said, casting Ruin over and over can become boring so I do add a miasma II sometime myself for the sake or diversity.

    How can you even say that without including ruin and garuda?

    Yeah when I cast thunder, and only thunder, it's 100% of my dps! In 2.1 I will do exactly ZERO (0) DPS!

    No, this is a good change. it mean that if you're in obey mode and use an ability, the mob will stay in obey and not switch to Sic, same thing if on steady and you use an ability, it will only use the ability and not go in attack mode. You still have sic to make it attack as its choose.
