It's like you didn't even look at the prices. o_OUh yea not in the mood in dealing with someone who can't exactly read english, but yes, you DONT deserve a house. Period. If you cannot afford it. First class, fifth class. For whatever reason you think I was talking about first class? lol if you cant afford 4M gil between 10+ people, you dont get a house. The world does not blow up, nor does it stop you from progressing through the game if you dont have a house. That is called a luxury. But ok, you can keep being butthurt and call me a strawman.
Thank you.
I have. On my server the most ghetto plot of land you can get is 4M. Now assuming your fc is 10 members. I consider this pretty small, and I don't know the minimum fc size is but I'll stick with 10. Each player chipping in the gil they earned from questing up until that point should be 250k per person. That's 2.5M, already over the halfway point. 12 WP runs get you 9 philo mats, which can get you 150k - 180 (ionno depends on server but this is the price on the least inflated one). There's your 4M gil. Or at least close to it.
The prices are made to have your fc make a team effort. Not solo it.

The base price on my server for the smallest, crappiest plot of land is 20,000,000. Not 4 million. My FC has about 3 million total, and we've been working for weeks now, some people longer.I have. now what about the new players who were unlucky enough to have to roll on a legacy server to play with friends?I have. On my server the most ghetto plot of land you can get is 4M. Okay now this is a decent point (first one in like 4 pages lol). That sucks. I won't lie. That just sucks. I don't have experience on legacy servers but I can at least guess that the economy is still inflated. New players can still earn 8 figure gil at a much faster rate than normal servers, but yes the quest gold is a small crutch. Nothing is perfect I guess.
Well riddle me this then, if you have no idea what the econ is like on legacy servers how can you even warant a guess at what making gil is like?
*Edit*
I just did some research I made a new character on Lich one of the cheaper housing severs and did some research on their more expensive items.
LICH
Tome items such as Potash are selling for
--------
16-20k
Vanya Robe of casting is around 250k (Cost of goods 200k to make all NQ items)
I extremely high melded crafter can guarantee a 100% synthesis on this item and make a 50k profit it sell rather quickly
Aegis
Tome items such as Potash are selling for
--------
10k
Vanya Robe of casting is around 120k (Cost of goods 95k to make all NQ items)
I extremely high melded crafter can guarantee a 100% synthesis on this item and make a 25k profit it sells rather slowly due to higher density of crafters that are decked
How is this balanced? Where are people on Aegis supposed to be able to make more money than those on other servers? Hell I wont even overstate other crafts with much better/worse cost balances on Legacy vs non legacy servers.

Earth to yamface, yours is only 1 out 5 tiers, and the cheapest to boot. On my servers the cheapest is 20 mil, and for some it's 40mil.I have. Nope, everything is shitty, because the inherent system behind the economies of both are the same - one of continually decreasing demand coupled with ever-increasing supply, nothing is worth jack shit nowadays.Okay now this is a decent point (first one in like 4 pages lol). This explains your attitude. You have no place in the argument, your housing is cheap. Our fc is working with the same gil you are but we have to pay 20mil for smallest.I have. I just made a character on balmung, one of the most expensive servers (legacy). Vanya hat for 2M on market board? LOL. I see you have next to 0 understanding of economics.
Yea sorry what I shouldve said was that hardcore players probably account even more than half, I will say "most" to keep vague and make you happy about me not making up stats. Not sure what cave you live in but the balance between casual/hardcore has never been equal.Originally Posted by beeraga

Made up statistics are fun.
