Not to the same degree. There's a difference between saying "yes I'll help you get what you need out of this run provided I also get what I need" and saying "my needs are the only thing we're going for here, you have to forgo what you're here for." Watching a cutscene doesn't stop anyone from finishing the run and getting their loot. It may happen a minute later, but it still happens. On the other hand, skipping a cutscene does prevent the story from happening at all.

"To you it didn't" to me When I go through the main storyline, I want to "live" it. Waiting till watching it in the inn will feel like it was a dream >.>.

I understand AFTER the first time you see it I feel people should skip, but THEY ARE PAYING FOR IT, so they have every right to watch them in the way that they want to watch them.

Edit: Also, if you really want everybody to skip, you should just form a party yourself with like-minded individuals. That way You don't have to be bothered and the people that want to see the story for the first time can watch it.

Everyone in the run is paying for it, "everyone" including those majority who generally have no desire to watch the cutscenes.

Those people then should make a party and grind away. In the DF, Everyone should be expecting someone to do there story for the first time. If you or anybody doesn't want to do that, simply make a party with people that want to skip the CS period.

Nice try but no. The content is there for a reason. Skipping it is obviously not its intended design. Maybe the devs need to put a limit to how long a cutscene can last (making the text autoscroll after X seconds) and\or maybe stop the dungeon timer while someone is watching (both are separate issues)... but cutscenes are there to be seen. Skipping is the option. You have no right to demand anyone skip the experience they paid for and have every right to see.

Does that mean that people who get kicked will get all the info necessary to be able to report abuse of it? They'll need to know who initiated the kick (by both name and server), who all voted for it (again, both full name and server), and what reason was given. If there's no reason given, or one that isn't accurate, or one that's inherently abusive (like kicking for watching the cutscenes), then it should be both reportable and acted on when reported.

If all the kicked player knows is that by the time they're finished with the opening cutscene, they're out of the dungeon and told they've been kicked from it, then there would be no way to report the abuse, so no way for the GMs to take that action you're claiming will happen.

in many situations you can't even be sure if players abused the system or not....someone is just too slow or w/e and gm decides you abuse the system, awesome
