Vote Kick if watching cut scene? Dev Pls Respond

People are playing to enjoy the game not go through speed runs, organize a speed run party before you enter the dungeon

Good of you to speak for all the folks that play this game. Glad we got that all cleared up now, silly folks thinking people might enjoy playing in ways you don't like.

Regardless, the system, as posted, seems fine. If someone wants to needlessly hold everyone else up they'll get the boot. Majority rules.

Seriously? In the DF?

If it is WP, for instance, and a new-to-50 healer joins who is perfectly capable of running the dungeon at a good pace but not a true speed run, it's ok to kick that person because the others want a +1 healer who can run it in 15 minutes instead of 20?

Now, I can understand if it is a non-DF pre-made group where you sell it as a speed run and ask all players to have a minimum level of (over)gear. If someone has lied and shows up as a fresh 50, sure boot. But that capability already exists.

That would make no sense. If you boot a person in a pickup group, they cannot be replaced. DF is turned off if a party is fully formed via lfp invites.

ummm why does this matter? Praetorium and Castrum are both gonna be separate from everything else as story dungeons and there is not really as much rewards as you would get from the 3 hard mode dungeon the new one and AK and WP seriously why are people freaking out... not many ppl are going to be running story dungeon because it has nothing to reward v/s others... it is not optimal for those so called skipper jeez get over yourselves...

Because Prae and CM are going to be the last dungeons with CSes ever, right?

And people still complain and whine and moan and cry about CSes in them already as is, so much so that if I'm running the place in DF, I'm WATCHING the CSes along with the newbies.

Is it going to be possible for people to initiate a vote kick for people who are watching the cut scenes? If this is going to be possible then let me know so I can just quit right now.

I will not support a game that will throw someone under the bus like this because of impatience from other people.

they are not going to allow you to kick someone for watching the cutscene. they are part of the games overall great experience

Q: Will you be adding a kick feature for the Duty Finder?

A: Yes, we will. It will be a vote dismiss system, so for example, if someone is AFK or has fallen asleep, a request asking if the player should be removed will be sent to the other members of your party. If all members agree, the person will be removed. However, you won't be able to use this over and over, as it will be limited to once every few hours. Using this as a method for grief tactics falls under harassment, so please be careful.

Since you'll only be able to kick every few hours I doubt people will waste it on cut scene watchers.

I have no problem with people watching a cutscene. They pay to play this game and deserve to play as they see fit. If you don't like it make your own group and don't use duty finder, shout for people that won't watch or something like that

As long as SE are incredibly strict on the punishments doled out to people who abuse the votekick feature, we'll be fine.

Because the punishment should be really bad. (Thinking day in gaol at least, for any incidents past the first warning).

Who cares if people watch cutscenes? I mean really?

There should be an option to turn cutscenes off, even just that you haven't seen.
