When I tank for WP, I would always ask when type of the run the healer wanna do.

RR - Regular Run----one group of mobs each pull
SSR -Semi Speed Run ----2 groups mobs each pull
SR - Speed run -----2 pulls before 1st boss, 2 pulls before 2nd boss, 1 pull before 3rd boss

Boy do I have one. Alright, so last night I jump into an Ifrit Hard Mode run, because why not? The party lacked a BLM or SMN, so the DPS had to be on top of the nails when that phase came. Said Phase came and well...everyone but me and one of the tanks died. Now you may be thinking: Man this sounds horrible...and it was at first, but instead of just resigning myself to dying and starting over, Me and Eos kept the tank alive long enough for me to get the other healer up (I ran away from Ifrit a bit so he wouldn't hit me with the push back move). Slowly the other healer and I got everyone else up with the bard pulling off a LB3 to get our remaining members up. It was a hell of a run and I felt like a hero afterwards.

I wish more tanks were like you. ;~; I've met too many tanks who assume that I'm ok with a speed run because I have a few i90 pieces and +1 relic. My gear does not indicate my willingness to speed run anything.
