Loot lockouts should be based on Job

This right here tells me that you really aren't getting my point. It's not about needing the gear, it's about providing incentive so that all of the people who are logging out Tuesday - Sunday

I'm scratching my head why you need an incentive. Maybe if you just didn't play the crap out of the game on monday, you'd have more to do on the other days. Tell me. Have you leveled every job? Every craft and gather? Have you completed every quest? Every FATE? Have you beaten Twintania? No? then you have reasons to log in Tuesday-Sunday. Have fun helping others. Run lowbie dungeons (which next week will have a brand new incentive, just for you!), help people with titan, there's plenty of stuff to do. This is purely a hardcore gamer problem, and even though I consider myself one, I still have reason to play the rest of the week.

I'm scratching my head why you need an incentive.

Personally I'm still logging in daily to grind fates mindlessly (thank god for duty roulette and increased dungeon exp around the corner) but several of my friends and FC mates don't anymore and they would be if they had some incentive so really, you can scratch your head all day but a lot of people aren't going to do something without some form of incentive unless a friend needs a hand. I do have all my crafts at 50 but have no intention of leveling gathering skills since the sheer number of bots that control the markets for mats on my server make it not worthwhile at all.

I'm scratching my head as to why you're so against this. How is it going to effect you in the long run? I would imagine you'd be happy to have more people to play with and all these restrictions seem to do is limit that number and force people to make alts when they really should not have any reason to. The only people who will get burnt out of the content due to this change will be those who are already logging out due to boredom.
