I'm rather glad I didn't rush to max out ilvl90 so I can enjoy these contents in a linear fashion. There is a lot of stuff to do end game if you just start the game now.
Considering out of 20,000 players of 1.23 only 400 could beat Ifrit Extreme (I think that even includes those who botted outside the ring to fight him)? yeah, probably will happen.
Glad to see at least ifrit is i70+
CT must be easy mode if it's only i55+ I'm finishing out my last few pieces of DL today, and 9th Relic. It's really not hard to even get i70.. can't wait to see all the people ; ; that they can take on this challenge with their WP gear.
Probably easier, especially if he's not immune to stuns. The fight will probably be entirely scripted so it'll just be a memory game and we also lose the incapacitation of horns as well.
The part I feel kind of down about is that Ifrit X is the last to kill of the three, meaning he'll probably be the hardest. And if he's easier than 1.0's Ifrit X and Garuda and Titan are easier still, I can definitely see people clearing all three within the first week.
Ignored the walled-garden people. I haven't even manage to get a single drop of of coil due to my bad luck, and even then a very small population would have af+1 gear Since it takes 900 myths to get a relic+1, there's no way to deck out in i90 unless you focus on a single character(rare of rare set of the population)So in reality of being able to defeat them (for the majority) it's more like:
Garuda EX -> Full DL + Relic/Mog
Titan EX -> Partial CT + Relic/Mog
Ifrit EX -> Full CT/Partial Myth + Relic+1
Less than 10% of the game's population has Full IL90... I don't understand how you can assume that ~70% have it... Less than 10% of the game's Subscribers are actively attempting Coil... (That's a whopping 60,000 still... 3 times the number of Subscribers for 1.23)...
I think the ifrit nails aren't going to be that bad, since yoshi has made sure they any combination of 2xtank 4xdps 2x healer, can clear it. Sure it may takes massive team work to get everyone on the proper nail timing, but it shouldn't need any LB tricks.
You assume every 20-30k players playing 1.23 did Ifrit Extreme. 400 people is equal to one entire server near the end of 1.23.
I can see that for the first Day, but that goes for most Content and was that way for most Content in 1.0. Even if the Primals are easier than Ifrit X in 1.0, still only a small fraction will beat it within the first month and the good majority will probably not even touch them for a while, since they have not even beaten Titan HM. Oh... and i hope Ifrit will be immune to stun, that is one thing i do not like about HM Ifrit, that you can Stun his Abilities. I liked the "old school" run the fuck away.
But anyways.. i am looking forward to them and expect a lot of Fun. Currently i am also curious about the actual Drops from them, not about the Stats... more about how they look. And also.. if there will be a Extreme Mode Leviathan, when Levi comes in 2.2.
I actually kind of hate all the pop culture references in quest names.
As a WHM I'm a little worried bias will begin to occur for Ifrit. Holy in Ifrit HM can already hit two nails, but with this many we could hit 2~4 perhaps? People would be wanting 2x WHM just for Holy.
