Vote Kick if watching cut scene? Dev Pls Respond

I disagree with the kick feature when watching a cutscene. Personally, if I'm with new players and I will ask, do you all want to watch the CS's? If the majority says yes, I will let them and not proceed deeper into the instance. CM and Pratorium have long CS's, but also a a 2 hr timer. Also, "you can watch the CS's in your inn room." No you cannot. You can only watch a few select ones. The only time a kick feature is needed is in a dungeon with no CS's and the Primal battles.

You have to consider the fact that if it was not possible to kick people that were intentionally going AFK while watching a cutscene, then there would be more issues.

More issues? I disagree, and makes me very worried for the purposes of this feature getting implemented.

I don't understand why people are so impatient! Just enjoy the game... If someone is playing poorly, help them play better. If someone is being rude or not being productive to the group regardless of trying to help them, then LEAVE THE GROUP. I personally don't see a point to a kick feature, even if someone is AFK. Just leave the group and re-queue... or god forbid "wait" if they are actually afk for a few minutes. What's the rush? This isn't WoW.

Let people watch cutscenes for christ sake. Or even go a step further, and FORCE CUTSCENES TO NOT BE SKIPPED!!!

Make cutscene dialogue line progress automatically after set period of time, and afk in cutscene wont be possible.

Problem is some ppl done want to. I have been in dungeons where the tanks obviously fated themselves to 50, cannot hold hate for anything esp on more than 1 target and tell you to %@$# off if you try to give them helpful tips or just ignore you flat out and continue to suck throughout. Some goes for dd and healers

Also not always an option if you are a dd and already have to wait up to an hr or more for a run in df, esp for story missions

I didn't know people watching cutscenes was an issue, since castrum/prae is no longer on anybody's radar.

The only time I have problems w/ people in cutscenes is when they stay in the cutscene for the entire run so they don't have to do any work.

Ran them last weekend for the first time. Was bullied into skipping cutscenes and told to watch them on the inn.

If you take more than 5 minutes to watch the CSs you're either a troll holding up the dungeon (we want these people kicked), had an emergency (who knows when you'll be back so KICK), or DCed (again who knows so KICK). One way to implement this to counter the occasional mid-dungeon CS is to place maybe a 1-2 min lockout on the vote to kick during CS points. This may not prevent assholes from kicking you once you're out but nothing is perfect.

By the way, someone will only appear as [DELETED] if the owner of the account deletes the character. Most if not all of those RMT on your blacklist are probably gone.

Pretty much every dungeon I've been in someone told me to skip the cutscenes.. not ask. Told.

Or could you add a Duty Finder option that allows groups to be formed where all players want to watch cut-scenes?

Sadly, I fear that would take 20 times longer for a real party to be formed. >.<
