Vote Kick if watching cut scene? Dev Pls Respond

Why, it will be used as a tool for griefing. What about if you're running a slow computer or you're not the fastest to escape from a cutscene? Some idiot comes around and kicks you as you're trying to skip...

OP think before you write. This is an absolutely horrible idea and the MVP system is better, voting good players up is better than griefing because you're being a douche.

keep a guy watching a 30s cutscene... or wait 10s to realize hes watching said scene to kick him and wait another 20 seconds for another guy to join party? I see there is a lot of time saved here. O yea and best of luck kicking a tank. I am sure you guys saved yourselves a LOT of time finding a tank who is willing to not watch the cs.

I disagree with the kick feature when watching a cutscene. Personally, if I'm with new players and I will ask, do you all want to watch the CS's? If the majority says yes, I will let them and not proceed deeper into the instance. CM and Pratorium have long CS's, but also a a 2 hr timer. Also, "you can watch the CS's in your inn room." No you cannot. You can only watch a few select ones. The only time a kick feature is needed is in a dungeon with no CS's and the Primal battles.

while i agree with limiting the vote-kick to dungeons without a dozen CS's in the middle of them (every dungeon has a cutscene at the beginning and at the end)

you really need to stop spreading misinformation.. every CS you see in a story dungeon is viewable from your innroom, they're just not all under the same submenu

reletively true for most cutscenes there are a rare select few that can not be replayed in the cutscene book. Arcanist Class quest, for example, have a few cutscenes you can not replay in the book becuase those cutscenes include dialogue choices that will affect the dialogue of the cutscene that plays right after those cutscenes.

And in the case of dungeons, which this thread is basically related to, you can view them all.

Make cutscene dialogue line progress automatically after set period of time, and afk in cutscene wont be possible.

I didn't know people watching cutscenes was an issue, since castrum/prae is no longer on anybody's radar.

Ran them last weekend for the first time. Was bullied into skipping cutscenes and told to watch them on the inn.

The only time I have problems w/ people in cutscenes is when they stay in the cutscene for the entire run so they don't have to do any work.
