It's not an assumption its fact rofl. You can blame lag all you want for why you got hit, but if you are in my party and say lag killed you, 95% of the time people are lying and just didn't move in time.

The world isn't perfect. People would talk about achieving market equilibrium, but the economy only ever fluctuates about that point. Any system, mechanical or virtual, can never reach 100% efficiency. Look, netcode for FFXIV is very good. Impressive even. But the way you claim it to be a perfect little gem is just inaccurate.

If they are lagging that bad its the connection they have (spiking pings =/= SE's fault btw), and maybe they should A:Try to get a better connection, B:Play in a data center nearest them or if those fail C: Not play at all if it breaks gameplay that bad for them.
