Next live letter ( Dec.14th) there may be a surprise announcement for Musketeer. ( You never know). Seems they have the class working in this boss fight.

I'm hoping they actual do provide info about musketeer in the next live letter.

The Musketeer been part of the game so long and yet not actually part of the game itself that I'm just glad they manage to get some kind of combat concept into the game with 2.1. There already a few Musketeer NPCs in the game but we can never fight alongside them because they haven't implamented the Musketeer combat style into the game yet until Patch 2.1.

I never run food in dungeons as the cost doesn't justify use on any farming material and I don't have crafting/gathering up for it yet. With lasting food buffs, I will probably be more inclined to buy food. The gil payout usually nets me 15k-20k a week minimums. That's assuming I'm not spirit bonding gear in runs.

It's not really needed when you're a DPS or healer, but as a Tank when I do SR's I pretty much have to squeeze out as much HP as I can in case the Healer isn't up to par.

In this shot, I thought it was a summoner using a new limit break or something, but then I noticed there's a sword at their side as well?

Musketeer?

People don't seem to realize, even it this is a mini boss, Yoshi & team, are showing us are new class mechanic. Whether this dungeon will be a part of us unlocking the new class? Who knows. But we are seeing it in action, and I wouldn't be surprised if its available to us in 2.1

This patch reminds me of the mini expansions we bought in FFXI. And yoshi said he would release new classes through patches as well.

People thinking we have to wait a whole year(for an expansion) to get 1-2 new classes are silly. As Yoshi will probably give us 1-2 more classes before the first expansion hits.

So people seem excited about Hildibrand. Who on earth is he? ._.

All I found out so far is that he is a very dashing dude with shiny teeth. I..didn't really get excited.

Think of him, as comic relief. He is a detective who had a female assistant in 1.0. There were little crimes and conflict going on within in the cities, and he would be there to take on the case. You would usually end up doing all the work and he would take credit for it.

This is what I remember from 1.0. If he is still the same( I presume he is), he is funny to watch/read
