To the comments about the "new" BGM in the dungeons being brought back from 1.0.. it's already in game in Darkhold.. but you only hear it for the 20 or 30 seconds it takes to engage the first mob >_<

Think there was a dev comment about them fixing the dungeon music though.

I was excited about the housing. Im sad though, Limsa beach front is so nice that its going to cost a fortune. I wanted to like the area in Gridania a lot more than I did. It looked lackluster. But all in all this video makes me squeee like a school girl. Cannot wait for 2.1 now.

This will be coming every other patch. I understand that you want to keep progressing in the end game but you have to realize that this is an MMO. It's built for everyone to have fun in equal ways, not just the very small portion of players at the end game. Now, I do agree with you on the CT lockout. That's just a stupid decision on their behalf. As for the amount of players you're allowed to enter with, I also agree that that's a little silly as well but they have said that we'll be able to enter with 24 people of our choosing in the future.

When it comes to the new Dungeon and the Duty Roulette, yes, you can always do something like WP if you want the quickest bang for your buck when farming Tomes. However, this goes back to what I said earlier that not everyone plays the game in the same way that others do. I personally don't like doing the same Dungeon 10 times per week, and I dislike WP speed runs even more because I personally don't dabble in crafting and often need Gil to keep up with Repair costs and buying Food. The Duty Roulette makes this perfect for a player like myself.

I hate to repeat myself a third time here, but the Main Scenario quests are for those of us who actually care about the story. If you don't like it, no one is forcing you to do it. Not overly interested in PVP or Housing myself, but I know a lot of others enjoy the aspect of them so that's even more content for those players.

New dungeon... you can speed run WP for 100 phil and 30 myth. 70 Gear > 60 gear. So unless the new dungeon is sub 15min it is worthless doing besides the achievement and saying you did it.


Duty Roulette ... So I can 100 phil and 10 myth for doing a 50min run with a pug... or I can get 100 and 30 in 15mins with a shout/guild group. Hard decision there..

yes hard decision,!I choose playing over siting watching my char do nothing
I also choose diversity over doing the same thing every monday then nothing else other days.

Food is getting buffed at least so it doesn't fade on death. Cost increases or decreases will be interesting... And repair cost should never be a concern if you run dungeons for myth. You make enough in one run to repair your gear from 50%(Guess :P).

Further to this, after more investigation, that looks like a Tricorne and more of a Commodore's garb than Summoner's garb...
