I like being right about a prediction for once. I said the other day that the boss would be Archeron. May of been an easy one though.

Everything in this patch looks very exciting and glad to see there will be more things to do with my time than simply spamming dungeons and Coils.

I'm excited, but it depends how and what. Will we have to beat Twintania to see more of it? Because there's already some story cliff hanger after you beat Twintania, does it expand on this or is it before it? I think it'd kind of stink if it's story before Twintania because I want to know wtf is going on in there and why did he just walk away.

I doubt it. I haven't seen that part yet, but whatever happens after twintania is probably just going to be hanging there until they release more of the coil. Same will be the case with whatever storyline the Crystal Tower carries with it.

I believe Coils is it's own storyline. Yoshida in an interview mentioned once that in the game we would be taking on three story lines.

One is the main scenario, dealing with the Garlean Empire and Ascians, which from the looks of it, is what we are continuing.

Second is the beast tribes and primals. Which consist of the beastmen daily quests and primal battles.

Third is the Binding Coils of Bahamut itself. Which revolves around the mystery of what happened to Louisoix and Bahamut at the end of the 6th Astral Era. Not directly related to main scenario story line.

I highly doubt that. The Binding Coil is supposed to be the hardest content available in the game right now, something that only a small portion of the current population can reliably do right now. SE would be fools to lock out the main story from the majority of their players.

Also, the Binding Coil is listed under Chronicles of a New Era in your quest journal, not Main Story.

That's what I'm excited about! I'm actually surprised that it's been barely even mentioned by devs until this trailer came out!

The thing I'm most excited for that I don't see anyone talking about is that the final boss of CT will be 24 v 1. He must have some interesting mechanics to be able to handle all that. That is, if we can make it to him through DF. :-P
