You know you can do it for these Reasons Yoshi P stated, just do it when the Vanity system comes out, then you will not have to worry about it."You’ll be able to obtain equipment that can then be used with the “vanity” (name TBD) system that we will be implementing later, and you can also obtain equipment for your alternate classes and jobs."
So we should do it for a feature that isn't even implemented yet. And for jobs we aren't playing.
Yay!!!!!
Let's see what else...Extreme Primals that drop ilvl 90 weapons which we already have. Or hard-mode dungeons that give the same ilvl gear and tokens as a faster/easier Wanderer's Palace run.
Is there any point to do any of the content in 2.1, other than for a vanity system that won't be implemented until the next patch? Wtf are we even supposed to do after we transmog our characters?

I just see alot of whining, you are paying to play this game! If you didn't enjoy it, you wouldn't pay for it, just like you don't go and eat at a terrible restaurant over and over. So stop complaining already or just cancel your subscription.

All allagan armour/weapons ilvl90 -> 95
Ex-Primal weapons ilvl90
All CT armour/weapons(?) ilvl80 -> 85
AF2 armour ilvl90 -> 80
Relic+1 weapons ilvl90 -> 80
New 50lvl dungeon armour/weapons(?) ilvl70
Relic+0 weapons ilvl80 -> 70
Hard Titan weapons ilvl70
Darklight armour ilvl70 -> 65
Hard Garuda weapons ilvl70 -> 65
Hard Ifrit weapons ilvl60
Amdapors Keep armour ilvl60
Wanderers Keep armour ilvl55
some ilvl adjustment can make new content relevant for a lot of more people.

I would also like to add one BRILLIANT thing EQ did was with every expansion not only was there more progression content but 100's of new AA's why no other game has even thought about the huge AA system that you can always log in and make your character more powerful and unique is beyond comprehensionI had some fun at first... but the repetitious grind made me stop logging in....
Even years ago, EQ decided they were going to do a dungeon grind and released an entire expansion called LDoN... but they gave you several locations to dungeon grind... different themes, different difficulty levels, and then the instances were dynamically generated so they were changing maps each time.
There's really no reason to be making games nowadays where people are repetitiously running the same few dungeon/maps over and over again. That is just plain ridiculous.

Definitely. AAs made logging in productive, no matter what level of gameplay you were at. Loved AAs.I would also like to add one BRILLIANT thing EQ did was with every expansion not only was there more progression content but 100's of new AA's why no other game has even thought about the huge AA system that you can always log in and make your character more powerful and unique is beyond comprehension

best system ever made even eq2 dropped the ball with the 3 tree 20 total aa crap ..... in EQ even if you had full time gear ( best at the time) you could still log in and advance your toon cuz there were 1700 AA's at the time you could get.
And that not only made your character more powerful but different then the 1000's of other "rangers" running around .... people like to be unique , they also like for their time put into something SHOWS and COUNTS for something not just hey i got full end game gear oh ya? did you clear coil ? nah i did these solo daily quests and bought it .... get the fuck out of here SE thats lame as shit
