Vote Kick if watching cut scene? Dev Pls Respond

As I understand it, the vote kick feature won't be triggered by player but will be triggered by an event (AFK for a period of time, not doing any damage for a period of time, etc... etc...)

Doubt it, since they said misuse constitutes harassment. How could I misuse a system that triggers automatically when certain criteria are met?

If what they posted is true, it'll be pretty hard to misuse it. Hell, I'm more worried that if I vote-to-kick someone who is griefing the run by pulling bosses/mobs before the group is ready or is generally being nasty that I'll receive disciplinary action because it was "harassment."

I had a CM group yesterday trying to run a buddy with two troll tanks.

The first troll tank AFKed through the entire run except to say "I'm eating " (it's worth noting that 3-4 people mentioned he had done the same thing to them in a prior run at the start of the dungeon) until we decided to drag mobs to his AFK spot (two bosses in) and get him killed. Then he bailed.

The second was spiritbonding a full set of level 14 gatherer gear and spammed /sit on every boss fight.

So

I'm hopeful about SE's ability to manage the cutscene and idiotic kick reason issues, but it's a feature that's needed enough that I'm personally willing to eat the casualties.

People are playing to enjoy the game not go through speed runs, organize a speed run party before you enter the dungeon

ummm why does this matter? Praetorium and Castrum are both gonna be separate from everything else as story dungeons and there is not really as much rewards as you would get from the 3 hard mode dungeon the new one and AK and WP seriously why are people freaking out... not many ppl are going to be running story dungeon because it has nothing to reward v/s others... it is not optimal for those so called skipper jeez get over yourselves...

Because Prae and CM are going to be the last dungeons with CSes ever, right?

And people still complain and whine and moan and cry about CSes in them already as is, so much so that if I'm running the place in DF, I'm WATCHING the CSes along with the newbies.

Is it going to be possible for people to initiate a vote kick for people who are watching the cut scenes? If this is going to be possible then let me know so I can just quit right now.

I will not support a game that will throw someone under the bus like this because of impatience from other people.

they are not going to allow you to kick someone for watching the cutscene. they are part of the games overall great experience

It will be a vote dismiss system, so for example, if someone is AFK or has fallen asleep, a request asking if the player should be removed will be sent to the other members of your party. If all members agree, the person will be removed. However, you won't be able to use this over and over, as it will be limited to once every few hours. Using this as a method for grief tactics falls under harassment, so please be careful.

Since you'll only be able to kick every few hours I doubt people will waste it on cut scene watchers.

I think it should be a majority thing like in a dungeon 3/4 vote, in an 8 man instance 5/8. So majority wins. The reason is if there is a troll, then people could kick them. But if it was a dumb reason like does not want person to watch cut scenes or wanting to steal loot, than the person would not be kicked.

I have no problem with people watching a cutscene. They pay to play this game and deserve to play as they see fit. If you don't like it make your own group and don't use duty finder, shout for people that won't watch or something like that
