Coil Drops, Quality of Life Suggestions

Cleared 1-4 again yesterday... Same old drg junk that noone wanted... My alt jobs are better geared than my main at this point.

I have been raiding coil since the game started, and have only gotten 1 coil drop so far. Tank drops are a myth; the non-existent stuff of legends!

Leave the drops as they are. You have myth that you can use until you get the allagan drops. There is no need for players to be impatient. Suck i up and deal with it dont cry because you cant have what you want now. You are not entitled to a drop every time, you must share the drops with your group. Cry over this shows how impatient players are, this also should teach players that just like real life you dont always get the reward you want right away.

Same here, only MNK/DRG drops every week. Our poor healers are undergeared, and caster gear rarely drops too.

If anyone in your group is under geared I ask you this have they used there myth to fix this issue? If the answer is no than that is an issue you need to address with those members. It is not the responsibilty of the dev's to make sure your group uses their myths nor should they make the gear easier to obtain. Your time and effort will be rewarded but not when you want, be patient and use those myth points.

It's their responsibility to not make broken RNG loot tables and to fix them before we waste 3 months of our time.

We are having trouble with tank drops . Wish we could just get less DRG drops, I don't think our ninth imaginary DRG needs a second set of Allagan.

As far as I know turn 1 or 2 cant remember which it was has been fixed. I havent seen anything confirming that any other turn has an issue, so not sure where you are getting the broken rng from. Its ok if you dont like rng but the game needs it and players need to accept it. The game offers plenty of hand out gear to use. Try using that till you get what you want.

This isn't specific to Coil for me, as I haven't done it, but I think it'd be interesting to see some improvements to loot as a whole. Since I was frustrated at having SCH weapon drop repeatedly in Ifrit HM, with no SCH in party, I can only imagine how annoying it is in Coil with a static group.

At least with the primals, it's a higher drop rate I guess (since only one item per job) and if there's no one in the party with that job you have a chance to pick it up for if you level later. Even so, I can see the benefits of excluding the drop if the job isn't in the party, at the very least in Coil.

That's how "Grats on book" came about. XD Glad to see it wasn't just us! When we get housing, we hope to have a bookshelf where we can put all of our Ifrit books.

I've gotten the shield, the boots, the pants, the ring, and the chest (though i accidentally passed on it)
