    Coil Drops, Quality of Life Suggestions

    This topic have been repeated many times over and over ever since players have started clearing Coil. I thought an ultimate topic with few suggestions might get the developers attention and hopefully improve the drops for future content before we start stabbing ourselves in the eye from MNK/DRG drops.


    • If a job is not in the Raid/Party, their drops should be excluded.

    Coil drops are special, we only get a small chance per week to get something out of it. However, when a dedicated group suffer from repeated drops for a job that is not in the party over and over again, it becomes quite frustrating. I do understand this would be a double edged sword, but I think many of us do agree enough is enough, our imaginary dragoon already have a full set of Allagan gear, can we now gear the players whom are actually showing up for raids and gets nothing for their dedication & efforts?


    • Equal distribution of drops between the two chests.

    I don’t understand why a chest would host less items than the chest right next to it. If you take a look at the loot thread, you would understand each boss has 18 possible drop in 2 chests. However, instead of each chest hosting 9 drops, one of them will have less and the other will have more. This is not fair pure and simple, all jobs are equal, no one should get more of anything.


    • Drops should not repeat before a full/half/quarter cycle per chest.

    You know what is worse than dealing with MNK/DRG drops? Having the exact same drop in the same exact turn drop again in the following week. We had this happen to us as we had the MNK belt drop twice in a row, rage invoking incident .


    I know not everyone going to agree, but please do understand many of us are suffering from the current loot system, and one day it will be your group turn to suffer from it unless something changes.
