Is 1.18 the final straw?

Its the final straw for me, there will be no more "They're busy overhauling" bullshit excuse and I'm fully expecting them to kick into motion and fix a lot of major issues. Otherwise its goodbye and sadly I probably wont return because I will of dedicated myself to another MMO and im sure many other people are in the same boat.

1.18 is actually a step backward for me, i doubt im going to like what they do with the battle system, i hope it wont be that bad, heck maybe they ll surprise me and be good.

But even if it is good, the game is going to need REAL content, leveling isnt content. battle where you have to do it as long as most MMOs make you will always get boring, they need Better stories, more weaved into regular gameplay, they need more gear, they need milestones for play, they need a bigger world, that gives you reasons to explore it. They need way more items, way more interesting bosses/fights more classes, they need way more of everything, we have the amount of content in this game that was meant to last 3 months tops.

They claim they were waiting for battle adjustments, well whatever, but you need to get that done fast, and get real content out like yesterday, i really hope they werent lying about having teams working on other stuff just waiting, because this game is in dire need of like 8 months of content. Dungeons is step 1, we need rapid steps after.

I too am hoping this patch will make it for me. As others have said, it's like logging on to a chat room now. I've done one class to 50, so I can't really compare to others that have got more than myself, but I do know that I don't want to do the same boring leves over...

I hope these dungeons kick ass.

It depends on how people express their viewpoint and how they respond to opposition of that viewpoint. People are getting emotional and tends to snowball into shitstorms. I personally don't like to use the term because I don't think anyone here wants the game to fail. They just get...a little excited when it comes to their desires for the game.

Labeling, and actually being a troll are two different things, and im tired of it to be quite honest, Im on here for FFXIV, and the people the support it, and trying to make the game work out, not for Game bashers that have nothing to do but to make other games look like crap.

well my friend besides this one your last 2 points had nopthing to do with anything and were troll garbage posts in my definition, and im sorry you log on to this games forum everyday and expect to see nothing but rainbows and sunshine. Honestly what you expect is a wet dream at best. the people that left this game are in a vast majority to the people who stick around and actually enjoy it, this doesnt count those who stick around to see where it goes, and this game will not survive just off of you alone. You need to realise that since you like this game so much you should be counting your lucky stars the game was made by SE cause of it was anyone else the plug woulda been pulled a while ago. And if things dont turn around, which i think the OP does a good thing by showing SE just where everyones lines are drawn, this game still has a possibility to die. SO if you dont like threads showing dislike for the game, dont read them or post on them and go play the game you enjoy.
