Labeling, and actually being a troll are two different things, and im tired of it to be quite honest, Im on here for FFXIV, and the people the support it, and trying to make the game work out, not for Game bashers that have nothing to do but to make other games look like crap.

well my friend besides this one your last 2 points had nopthing to do with anything and were troll garbage posts in my definition, and im sorry you log on to this games forum everyday and expect to see nothing but rainbows and sunshine. Honestly what you expect is a wet dream at best. the people that left this game are in a vast majority to the people who stick around and actually enjoy it, this doesnt count those who stick around to see where it goes, and this game will not survive just off of you alone. You need to realise that since you like this game so much you should be counting your lucky stars the game was made by SE cause of it was anyone else the plug woulda been pulled a while ago. And if things dont turn around, which i think the OP does a good thing by showing SE just where everyones lines are drawn, this game still has a possibility to die. SO if you dont like threads showing dislike for the game, dont read them or post on them and go play the game you enjoy.

I do enjoy the game, but I come on here to see peoples ideas and point of views not "bashing the game" comments theirs a huge difference I'm sorry. and no actually, because I played and beat threw FFXIII and I never played it again because it wasn't " an up to snuff again" to do a rerun of it.

FFXI I played for 7 years best MMO, Am I still playing that now? no because its starting to get old now, I log on every now in then but I dont play like I used too.

Apparently people like you just don't see that alot of things has happen to them with the Earthquake and all, and the switching of the new dev teams. But Quite frankly, I just don't see you or the people that have responses like the one I quoted, people want thing now now now now now but what you and other people don't "Realize" is that they are hard working, and the game has improved alot ( not content wise I give ya all that). However, those updates, are to patch up a "broken game" that Tanaka and his crew left behind for Yoshi-P and his team.

You think its easy fixing a broken game? its not hard.. Its a Numbered FF game, I and several other people would want them to trash their Flagship title! The Series that Saved their company from bankruptcy.

Threads showing dislikes of the game? (which most of the time leads to bashing the game down!) don't you have better things to do then to trash games you don't like?

Well man all those yous you are throwing around i am going to assume are not directed at me, as i am one of the people that does not really bash the game as i probably want it to succeed more then anybody, i just have this odd ability of seeing both sides of the coin and pisses me off when people act like its all just peaches and cream on this game. Im glad this game is coming around and ive been keeping my friends up to date on the changes as they happen so i can do my part to bring players back once the game is in order, however the complaint threads dont bother me as there are often good points of view that come out of alot of them.
You get awfully defensive and i have no idea why, then you are going to attack me even though you have a clear misunderstanding on my actual position on this game. Im telling you if you dont like these threads dont read them, simple as that. people like you, if i can throw around the personally attacking yous for a bit, do this game a disservice in the long run as you are just as blind as the trolls, and you blissfully ignore the fact that in reality you are damn close to not having a game at all. Ask games like tabula rasa and apb and a slew of others how their mmo went. Any other company and you would not have a game right now so instead of blindly white knighting i suggest you remember that fact. Do what you need to do and support this game and ignore these forums, because i'm sure nothing you like is going to come out of them.

The same reason people resort to labeling anything neutral or non-slanderous as defending.

This is going to be make or break for me to, and with the job system info it's pointing to break.

I too am hoping this patch will make it for me. As others have said, it's like logging on to a chat room now. I've done one class to 50, so I can't really compare to others that have got more than myself, but I do know that I don't want to do the same boring leves over...

I hope these dungeons kick ass.

The crafting system (like many people have said) is very boring. It was enjoyable at first, but when you creep up on your 500th hour of sitting in one spot hitting standard to finish a synth so you can throw it away to make room for more, the novelty ends quickly.

Where is the "content" for crafters? I seriously enjoyed the Alchemist storyline, why can't leves be more like that? Why can't our leve quests have meaning instead of the same "make 6 rings so the strippers can put them in sensitive places" everyday? Why can't we come to an NM fight and (like the Goldsmith quest with the spriggan) need to pick up items around the spawn point to craft and throw at the monster to weaken it? You have the mechanics already, how about you use your imaginations to put those mechanics to good use? There are hundreds (still thousands?) of people in the game that could come up with encounters using the same mechanics that are in place now... without needing an overhaul.

With the promise of actual content coming in 1.18 (Dungeons and their bosses mainly) we may actually have some more interesting things to do. But FFXIV was interesting at first too. How long will the novelty last? And will it be something we can enjoy at least 3 months down the road without wanting something different (aside from the usual trolls of course)

But if it fails (I mean miserably not troll whine fail) For how many of you is this the final straw?

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Working on goldsmithing. Linking accidentally. Almost no interest to play.

Something needs to happen soon.
