You are realy wrong, i provoke if the healer already got the hate, so i am in first position + 1, and then i launch my shield, to be sure he is locked.
Work everytime, np at all, no wipe at all, everything very fine. You can don't trust me, that will don't matter![]()

Regen?
I don't play White Mage much but I know it ruins a lot of add managing, even when the tank does it right.

usually all I do is Provoke ->flash -> shield lob (optional) ->rage of hallone combo. So far only lost hate twice (2 time), 1 to Eos because tab doesnt target the split and I have to manual target & WHm spam medica II

I start with a flash then throw my shield and run, if I know I have an overzealous healer then I will lob some more /rage combo on the way.
cant believe the amount of people that have the OT try to pull the split, interesting.
Pro-Tip .... Have the MT move his mob, no issues ever
This. Several times I've tried to explain this to other people, trying to make them understand that it's easier for the OT to remain static building aggro while the MT moves his Caduceus. I think I only managed to change my party's mind once.. It's amazing how much people hate to deviate from "the norm"

The main tank should move with the original snake. If that group was having the off tank move they are doing it wrong.

Like a good amount of people stated, you should not pull the Caduceus as OT to the other Side, since this will be a given in pulling hate from you. Usually the MT should pull Caduceus to the second Spot, since he actually should have a fair amount of enmity allready. Everything else is putting more Risk into the fight and would lead to possible fails unless you go with FC or a Static and you people are used to each other, i really would not recommon to pull away as OT, since it is not really a smart way to do it in first Place. If it would be, this Thread would not be here.
IF the Group wants you as OT to pull it to the other Side, people should stay on MT's Caduceus and you pre-build the Combo, Flash, CoS etc. Like i've said it is really risky, so i have no clue what kind of people actually would want that. Beside that maybe some things which could help you; FoF+Rampart, Tab-Target to second Caduceus, Don't waste Provoke right away, Flash, pre-build RoH, Flash, CoS, Start up Combo/kick in Flashes, Lob and you should not have Enmity Problems at all. The Healers don't always pull hate right away, so if you use it right away and the healer pulls afterwards you have a Problem. Different people use the Abilities in a different order, so it's really up to you.
But the Major-Issue with your experience is actually you pulling away Caduceus as OT.
