TP restore is interesting and clearly unique from Inner Beast, though wouldn't really come in handy until you need to spam Overpower for an extended period of time. The idea of making your next Wrath generation move generate extra Wrath is also interesting.

Turning the class into 'spam Overpower/Steel Cyclone and very little else' is basically the exact same as the Paladin style of aoe. Personally I like Warrior because optimal aoe threat is a bit more involved, particularly when it's not speedrun aoe everything down and you still need to worry about single target threat as well. I'm sure many enjoy PLD because there's no muss or fuss, Flash just works (until you run out of MP and need to Riot Blade, and there's ideas for that class to make that smoother as well out there in other threads).

Keeping the two tanking styles separate seems like a decent goal.

AoE tanking via tabbing isn't skillful it's cumbersome and clunky, not that I'm saying turning SC into a go to for AoE DR w/ OP spam any more/less skillful either.

Cycling between OP and SC, spending TP and Wrath, relying on keeping that DR uptime high...I would call that pretty different than Spamming Flash until MP is drained while pressing CoS on CD and rolling long duration DR CDs and tabbing riot blade to return resources afterwards.

A good tank in a heavy AoE pull is going to be tabbing through targets regardless of wether they need to use single target combos or not to spread auto attack threat...so tab away no one is stopping you.

If you had to 'worry' about single target threat you certainly wouldn't be spamming OP/SC to the max and instead throwing in single combos on your main burn, but even then if that really WAS something to worry about your DPS wouldn't be pulling off nearly as much threatening AoE or wouldn't even be AoEing at all if there really was such a target that you had to focus on because DPS were burning it in the first place.

You're not going to see people spamming OP and SC on boss fights unless they had an AoE phase if that's what you're so worried about.
