LF Warrior guide/BiS

Hey guys n' gals...

I'm looking for a comprehensive warrior guide and BiS list. There seems to be huge amounts of information on paladin tanking, which I am intimately familiar with, however I am having trouble locating similar resources for warriors. Am I just missing it?

It's not too difficult to just figure out the "BiS" yourself.

Just look through Allagan/Myth gear and get the highest Parry possible while satisfying the 475~ accuracy cap for Coil.

HQ fully melded i70 accessories set > any i90 "best in slot". Once you tried it you just cant go back.
The highest parry possible will give you worse results compared to a slightly lower parry with 45 more DEX.
You can gather the materials while farming myths for the armor, there are plenty of good crafters that will HQ on demand, it will take a while but its worth.

Some might argue you dont need the STR because holding hate isnt a problem; but being able to grab good hate with a single tomahawk isnt something to understimate, and killing faster isnt bad either.
Some other times you need to help the party on DPS (turn 4 and 5 comes to mind) and having good DPS stats isnt trivial for a WAR.

Mix and match AF2 and Allagan armor till you get the accuracy you need and the parry you like. Or just go full AF2 because it looks cool .
Full AF2 + full HQ griph set and allagan belt will give you exactly 475 accuracy btw, without looking like a clown and without getting crazy on RNG coil drops.
Also remember if you are short on accuracy you can use food (i see you are a lvl 50 cook), that is essentially an additional armor slot, this never gets mentioned while theorycrafting about BiS gear.

Replacing AF2 body with Coil body (easy to get T1 drop) will get you 10 more points of accuracy, might be useful for future content.

The 5th slot is crazy but there are "cheap" alternatives, not exactly BiS but still better than i90 gear.

This is what i melded, its not the absolute best but it doesnt cost millions of gil either:

6 parry
6 parry
2 vit
2 crit

The suggested "BiS" meld for griph is (damn expensive):

8 vit
9 parry
6 crit
6 crit
2 vit

I keep hearing this thing but you can buy the expensive ingredients with philo tomes and find someone crafting for you.
It will take a while but not longer than saving myth tomes for a full set of i90 accessories.
Buying them for millions would be very stupid.

I dont, my melding has 12 parry on it.
I dont know what is the "best" meld honestly... i was refering to an old post that suggested getting 9 parry and 12 crit.
Your version sounds good, id take the det over the skill speed.

I was referring to the melds. Farming tomes is easy. Materia and meld chances gets pricy. More so if they start getting RNG failures.
