The 5th slot is crazy but there are "cheap" alternatives, not exactly BiS but still better than i90 gear.

This is what i melded, its not the absolute best but it doesnt cost millions of gil either:

8 vit
6 parry
6 parry
2 vit
2 crit

The suggested "BiS" meld for griph is (damn expensive):

8 vit
9 parry
6 crit
6 crit
2 vit

I keep hearing this thing but you can buy the expensive ingredients with philo tomes and find someone crafting for you.
It will take a while but not longer than saving myth tomes for a full set of i90 accessories.
Buying them for millions would be very stupid.

why do you choose 12 crt over 12 parry?
