They aren't touching the relic weapons so how are they punishing you? They are simply improving the rewards for defeating Twintania, which requires you to have the relic weapon anyway! You realise the Allagan weapons are already better than relic for most jobs right?

besides, once you build yourself a 99 relic/myth/abyssean weapon and they get trumped by delve content in ffxi .. now THAT is another story .. relics in ffxiv are a joke to get.

LMAO so many people were butt hurt about this including me. I had a 99 Almace what a shame. But you know what that's the way things go.

While on the FFXI subject Mythic weapons are pimp, But took forever to obtain this is back at 75 cap (still takes a long time now). But it could take more than a year to make 1 Mythic, 30k Alex was the biggest pain.

Would be nice for SE to add some type of Mythic weapon (Legendary anyone?) that cannot be obtained in a matter of hours (Relic) or a few days depending your luckin CoB (Allagan Weapons).

Yoshi said that relics are too common so allgan is getting a boost. To me this seems like player punishment. Because the Dev team failed to make it hard and many of use are helping others to get theirs, we get punished... Does not feel fare to me.

Requires an Item of Level 80 (relic) yes, dos not require a +1 (90). Because Moogle Weapons are being boosted to 80, you no longer ven NEED a relic to do Twintania with 2.1.

Not to menton if there are Weapons at the end of the Crystal Tower and are Item Level 80 as well.

I hope that Pharos Sirius or the HM dungeons give an iLevel 60 weapon since the only i60s at the moment are Ifrit.

I'm glad I didn't spend myth on the +1. Seems like a waste if you think that the instance is supposed to be done in level 80 gear (including weapon).

I recently bought a Twintania win, and got an Allagan bow for 1.2m gil.

I'll do this a few more times, so I'm still top of the pile when 2.1 comes out.
