Cloud / Sephiroth Cross-over FATE / QUEST

u could come up with a logical explanation for ff7 : cloud falls into the lifestream n pops up in Eorzea with mako poisoning. Sephiroths remnants pop up around eorzea and after a series of fates ( like lightning's fates) they combine n form sephiroth.
eorzea is the center of the FF universe so nothings a stretch really. ppl just hate because they like the " oh well all these ppl love these characters, but i wont because thats cool" side of things. fan service is fan service. if u want something 100% original just wait for ff15, not this game

Were to die in Eorzea, he could never be ressurected again. (No life stream)
Cloud on the other hand.... well, he can freeze time with flashbacks so.....

I for one am tired of the milking off FF7 and 13... it needs to stop. There are other final fantasy's that deserve some type of appearance in this game.

At the end of the day, they will include whatever crossovers they want, regardless of how flimsy the rationale/lore for it is.

They've already shown it with this one.

Lightning gets sent over (by whom? Who knows?)
She gets 'tested' by being given soloable opponents (she never loses) with the entire population of Eorzea to back her up
She beats the boss with Odin (who apparently also came over with her).
Her last words are "Umm, yeah, so I probably won't be allowed to remember this stuff otherwise it will mess continuity up in my new game - COMING SOON!" (though there's no logical reason for her to expect not to).

Lots of good things coming out of this Dev team. Artistic Integrity? Not one of them.

That would be amazing but i doubt it will happen... cuz they did the lightning event for a reason which is to promote the upcoming console game (Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII)... its a smart move.. so ppl who play ffxiv might get interested and check it out... but they wont gain anything from bringing Cloud and Seph to this game

however still hope they do it would be awesome

Lightning's role is not yet finished in her respective world/title. So she could make an appearance.

I'd rather have Lara Croft and Adam Jensen (from Deus Ex HR) in FFXIV rather than Cloud and Sephiroth. And I really don't want them in this game.
