Market Wards, enough is enough

If you read my posts then I say that I don't think it will be an instant fix. Right now I've been waiting 8 months for SE to fix this. MW is awful. Get rid of the retainers and add in a timed bidding. I've played this game for 8 months and know NOTHING is an instant fix. I mean we can't even get linkshell management capability's. Where's the chocobo's? Where's the airships? Get real! But when the majority is asking for an AH and only a few players want to hang on to a backward system, I think it's time to change.

About 10% of the Transactions in WoW's AH are timed.

And timed and Blind bidding are things the people who do not want an auction house do not want. Not the instant purchasing or conveniences that can still be implemented into the MW.

Really, so when players said they wanted an Auction House, what does that mean in your opinion? I think there is a large majority that wants an Auction House.

Personally I think they want an easy to use system that lets them buy and sell stuff easily without having to hunt the item down in a instanced room.

IIRC we did one of those polls asking about what was it from an auction house you wanted and no one answered Timed or Blind Bidding.

I think it was more like what would you like to see in the game. Content was 1st and Auction House was second. I know I personally would be happy with a counter that you can buy and sell from. In my opinion that is called an Auction House. I'm not buying this "market wards is an auction house" rant either. It's not. MW are slow and cumbersome and are a major lag fest. I think the ease and convience far outweighs the need to see what items look like on people.

What Physic is saying is true, regardless of whether you want it to be or not.

Some people (be they the minority or not) enjoy an immersing, interactive economy system.

Games where you micromanage economies aren't mainstream popular like WoW or Call of Duty, but they have a strong following of people who enjoy that kind of thing - running their own business empires.

Do I think this justifies how crappy the Wards are? No, not at all. It should be refined and streamlined for efficiency, but if it can be done without sacrificing immersion that some people actually like - why should they sacrifice it?

This all hinges entirely on if it can be done. I'm sure SE is assessing that also. T

Absofreakinlutely! Where is that? Where are linkshell managemnet capability's? Where are chocobo's? Where are airships? Where is delivery box? Where is a Mog House? Some of the best things about 11 are not here and it's been 8 months???? COME ON! This is ridiculous.

I'd be ok for immersion but they are going to need a better way of doing it than running through a room full of mindless drones looking for the one who sells the item you want.

PSU had a some-what interesting system kinda similar to XIV now that I'm thinking about it. You would search for the item (or item type, I don't remember) and it would take you to a players house. There you can browse their personal shop as well as their house and see all their furniture.

I wouldn't mind something like this, especially since it would mean we get mog houses back. Plus, decorating your mog house would be THAT much better because you could actually show it off.
