Ballista was FFXI's sad attempt at PvP and PvP in general has grown a lot in the past 10 years.

I will take this as you are assuming that WoW will be better than FF11 ballista. Unfortunately, you do get trolled in WoW's random bg. They can simply just create an alt char on your server and spam you to internity. Only because you kill them too often in a random battleground.
