When did they say they were nerfing this? Can you link to the post? Why would they do that?If he's getting triple Flares he's either using Convert + a Hi-Ether or he's abusing a glitch lol. I don't mean double dipping, that was an intended feature.
Currently if you time it correctly you can double Flare without restoring MP in between. I guess if you were really good at it (it's a pain to pull off) you could land 6 Flares in just under 20 seconds whenever Convert and your ether was ready. It's getting fixed in 2.1 so we'll have to settle for triple Flares

Yeah, the mobs and other players are not moving.I'm not a Black Mage, but I have to ask, Horo - none of your Flares seemed to do damage, and when your Damage was finally registered, it didn't seem to do the damage of 10+ flares. It seemed like you just had a lag spike you were spamming Flare through, but I don't think it ever actually registered the damage at all.

The only issue is the Flare not consuming MP glitch, that's the only thing that needs to be fixed. Anyway...As this thread is about double flare now, my feeling is that they're going to put a CD on flare which will make all forms of double flare impossible. It's not a bug. It's how BLM mechanics work.
Good BLM have found a way to take advantage of it. When I get home in ~7 hours I will post an "exploit" when I cast >10 flares. In a row. This is what SE should really be fixing.

Because of different reasons, first off, Blizz 2 does shit damage, which is a complete waste of time. Transpose is highly unreliable, the dead time is HORRIBLE. yeah, you can get mana back in half a second, or it can take up to 2 seconds... which, you kinda are left scratching. On top of that, the flare dmg isn't just high enough to outweight the huge dmg loss in the time wasted. Anyway, there are multilpe ways of playing. To each their own.
