At least it's content we already have access to and thus can critique intelligently.

Right now everyone's just stabbing in the dark with earmuffs and a blindfold on.

Actually i never thought side quest was gonna be awesome cause XI quest was hardly good they just a few awesome ones here and there and people start wearing their nostalgia goggles.

I logged into my G/f char today on XI because me and her did all the same quest which is like over 500+ went down the list like 20 of them was actually interesting that was none af quest.

I'm with you and found that the quest system had some great quests, but also had some crap quests.

However, I think of these sidequests (XIV) more of the starter quests that will hopefully lead to greater quests down the line. Time will tell, and while it's hard to wait, hopefully the payoff will be all the better.

Can't wait to see job quests and companies quests, those should be a sign of things to come... I hope the FFXIV team and Yoshi-P are able to "knock the next few updates out of the park" so to say, and really deliver on the promises of the first producers letter.
