I'm not sure what's more funny. The fact you seem to like SAO or that you're rather ignorant on why people want an option to run with a full 24 party on a dungeon that was supposed to already be in the game since release, not 3-4 months later.
if there's an option to allow the DF to form 24 man alliances from your local server then i'm ok with this.
Im all for meeting new people, there could be ones that you can recruit but they have to be on the same server for that to happen
Unfinished content needs to stop being given the green light. It feels completely unprofessional.
Honestly, I wouldn't have cared if they pushed back the launch date till early 2014 if that meant giving the fans and players a more polished game with features originally promised.
Especially when structuring your game around a core concept like the Duty Finder. Everything that works with it must be on par with other games AND MORE! You're not supposed to sell a product with less features than last year's and tell the customer to look forward to when they finally give out the features originally advertised.

Again:I'm thinking, thinking REAL hard, but i just can't seem to remember any MMOs that offered a Dungeon for 3 groups of players, with 3 separate paths for each group to take, with 3 separate loot tables and has fights that require 3 different parties to complete different objectives simultaneously ... Hell i cant even think of an MMO with a raid that required more than 1 Main Tank and sometimes and offtank that wasnt a gimmik (MageTank in Gruul and WarlockTank in Serpent)........
Squee knew CT was going to be a 24 man thing. It's horrifically short-sighted of them to design their dungeon finder and party system in such a way that actively prevents people from creating 24-person groups.
Coil doesn't take 24 people, so... no, I don't think it would be in a "not-so-ready" state. They knew they would need this functionality before the game released. They should have built their dungeon finder system with it in mind.

they switched off to bring us coil first, therefore coil would be in the same state of not-so-readyness if they went the other way around.
SE knows people want to form 24 man groups. THEY ARE WORKING ON THE FUNCTIONALITY. You're just going to have to wait a little longer for it.
They figured going this rout would please the most people since CT is casual endgame and is believe it or not NOT directed at the hardcorest of hardcore (that's what COIL is for). The typical casual player is going to use the duty finder, not gather up 24 people for a dungeon run.

do you really believe that anyone working for this company or an mmo company takes half of this shit as seriously as you do? they understand that customers are upset and wish that they could make changes at the snap of their fingers, but they are too busy to tell someone on a forum that they are acting like a baby.

You're making an irrelevant point. The Crystal Tower isn't composed of 5 turns that all look completely different. Number of people does not necessarily correlate to amount of work required to construct the dungeon, supporting material and the encounters.Coil doesn't take 24 people, so... no, I don't think it would be in a "not-so-ready" state.
Maybe, just maybe, you should wait and see what it actually plays like before complaining or starting a petition.
I understand that you might want to make an 24 man alliance to go in, especially if you have a large FC. And I also understand people worrying about one group being slow/wiping, maybe even dropping out, and I am curious to see how Sqeenix will handle that for now.
And like many others already mentioned, they are working on it. Patience is a virtue.
