    I think you guys seriously underestimate the laziness of people. A lot of people are still going to defer to FATEs because they don't want to wait on queue times and would rather spam one button than have to actually coordinate within a group to grind out xp on a class.

    I personally will lean towards dungeons for leveling, but by no means will FATEs just die out.

    Me too. I am just happy that I have the choice to level in dungeons now. I still plan to do FATEs but it will be while I am waiting on my dungeon queue.

    I'm glad I will finally be able to meaningfully help speed up the XP process for friends that are new to the game.

Unlike fates, you can't just say,"Thanks!" and leave the party after the fate is complete. Dungeons = You must invest a solid 20-30 mins on average.
    You are right, even if the XP is better in dungeons, we must calcultate it per minutes and we don't know the data yet. I would be interrested in knowing of much XP per dungeon is given away.

    For exemple, with the XP Buff, a dongeons gives you 100K

    For 15 min = 6.6K a minute
    For 30 min = 3.3K a minute
    For 60 min = 1.6K a minute

    If a FATE party gives you on average 2K a minute, well it is still better FATE grinding than doing dungeons in a slow pace

    what is the point to sidequests and exploring when all you do is fates. you lvl 1 class to 50 and the rest of the time sit in town. at least with Fates you go out for some fresh air.

    Fates are fun and I still have not done them all yet so I like it for leveling for now...Dungeons will be a nice change of pace though to level alts with FC members and do something not so mind numbingly repetive like FATES can get...Oh...I killed that damn black sheep for the tenth time now...LOL

    Good bye FATEs, the worst way to level, besides questing in history. Now give me back XP parties and mobs that can kill me solo.

    It will only be a short while before you all complain about how boring it is to redo the same dungeons.

    Dungeons never needed more exp to begin with, you just needed more dungeons to choose from because running same dungeon 3 times makes it so boring you want to kill yourself. (Though if 3 runs in 1 dungeon gives you enough exp to reach next dungeon, which is about 2-3 levels, then all is well)

    I doubt dungeons will exceed FATEs unless FATEs are nerfed. I previously tested FATE and dungeon experience rates. In the final case, I see as much as 3411/min at level 21. If Halatali takes 39 minutes, then mere equivalence requires that Halatali give 133,029 experience. Level 21 is 63,900 and level 22 is 71,400 EXP. This means that you are practically guaranteed two levels per dungeon run if the buff reaches mere equivalence. You will outlevel dungeon equipment drops before you even reach the end of the dungeon to acquire them.

    //EDIT:

    If they are truly trying to make dungeons competitive with FATEs... well, for Sastasha up to Halatali, 1 run will suffice -- you'll probably even have to skip one of the three. Halatali to HM should take roughly 2 runs to outlevel the dungeon. Brayflox to Stone Vigil would be three runs each. With Dzemael Darkhold and Aurum Vale, you will have to do 4 runs.
