Warrior "buff" in 2.1: not what we are expecting?

As it is now, you are right, but that's because pld has 4 skills to increase def except shield oath. sentinel, bulkwalk, rampart and foresight.
Also pld has a shield, so block rate is "added" to parry rate (using quotes since it's not really added, as both are exclusive events).

War only has foresight. So even if it has more HP it has way less def, block/parry, and not a reliable heal bonus to compensate the huge losses in hp.

In 2.1 it will be different. I see a lot of def buffs (even in the rotation with storm's path, not to mention inner beast and vengeance), and a fixed +20% heals on defiance.
