That's BS. The gil sink is huge to bumrush to a 2 star worthy status, and since AF is 1 class only, 2 star on multiple classes is still a very very high teir status.

The gil sink to rush through triple leves is also extreme. Unless you sit there and craft all day, you can't say easy when you probably spent 3x as much gil in then out(wvr triple for instance you'll proabably loose double in pure shard cost, even if you farm all your own materials, that's rough), and then 10x as much gil in then out on getting your 2star gear.

I don't get why you're invalidating my opinion by telling me it's BS talk. You do realize I can do the same for you too, right? Crafting AF can be made with little to no cost if you craft it yourself, gathering everything you need for it (shards included). It will obviously be expensive if you buy everything from the Market Board (assuming that's the case).

God forbid people for actually investing something in their character. Yes, I won't deny gearing my Weaver (first crafting job) seemed hard at first, but once you start opening your options you will realize it's not as hard as it seems. In fact, my Alchemist and Armorer even gave me a 20-30k profit with the leves gil reward as I was leveling them. If you're having trouble with costs, talk with gatherers so that they can provide you some of the materials, or take one or more of the Disciplines of the Land to 50 yourself.

So I'll say it again. Don't accuse me from saying it's BS talk and invalidate my whole opinion just because you find it expensive and/or difficult.

People have the potential to level their DoH to 50 in one or two days, and then may come to the realization crafters won't play a great role in the grand scheme of things, especially since most equipment will be dungeon-dropped. The supply is already too big on most items; have you noticed that the items that sell the most are either leve items or crafting equipment? And besides, people have little to no incentive to purchase HQ equipment since they will outlevel it in a single day. Vanya and Darksteel are just used as a trampoline for Allagan or the Tomes of Mythology equipment, and we still don't know if the addition of Crystal Tower will expand our recipe list to make item level 80+.

Do you see what I'm talking about? Listen, I think it's great that people take their time to level and focus on building a community. I believe being a crafter is about all that, too. However, we can't deny there's a problem out there about the speed people are devouring the content; whether it is DoH, DoL or combat classes.

I'm sorry if I offended you by saying it's easy, I don't pretend to antagonize you and say your hard work was for naught. Unfortunately not everyone thinks like that, and I'm talking from my experience and the one I've seen in my crafting LS.
