Fishing needs more value

The ease of which fishing would be to bot instantly says that this will never happen. Working as intended, do other gathering stuff. Fishing will not be more than it is now.

Are you an SE employee so that you can state *anything* about this game?

Guess what, if majority of players dislike it it's NOT working as intended, it's broken and needs a fix.

And while we're at it - bots use botany and mining just fine, spewing hundreds of thousands of shards onto the market on a daily basis. You don't beat bots by making an entire class borderline useless, they'll just find another way to make gil.

When somebody designs a game and things are working as they are intended then it is fine. In this case, it is working as intended. Community members need to remember, if you start wanting things your way because you paid X amount and etc, its really like making your own game. We have to keep in mind, its really no fun in playing a game in which you create because you can predict everything that's going to happen, which is boring.

However, fishing actually makes a fair amount of gil for the little amount of effort required for it. You don't really have to run around between nodes and you can sit in a single spot for fairly long amounts of time. If you shuffle thru the forums, you will find that there are community members who make quite a bit from just fishing because fishing is required in some aspects of the game.

You use a lot of words like fact and declarations like it isn't fun. You also claim that a two page thread determines the sheer amount of unhappiness in the fishing community? How very...interesting. Personally I find fishing to be very fun, and I'm VERY happy with fishing as it is and frankly I hated fishing in 1.0. So...one of us must be wrong.
