Why? There's mercenaries and killers for hire that do what they need to do because they need to do something for a living. There's people who steal, mug, and do much worse to make money. Why is it okay for a criminal to perform criminal acts to make money on the grounds of "They're just trying to make a living." My family used to be very poor. My family isn't poor now. You know why? Hard work. At anytime we could have done it the easy way (criminal activity) but because we have strong morals we never even considered it. They are vermin and I would not care if something bad happened to them. If anything I might celebrate.

The people pulling the strings are the bad people. However, many RMT people farm gil in "legit" ways (as in, not hacking others or botting) in sweatshops, they don't really have a choice, life in those areas is completely different than what we are used to. Those goldfarmers are victims, just not in the same way as other players.
