Is beyond my reasoning because a game should become another game to appeal players of a different game. Is too much asking FFXIV to be his own game ?

Especially a niche game at that. There's been ton of threads like this through out beta. They haven't made an impact so this one won't as well.
Most popular thread was to bring back NMs, that hasn't happened.

Is it his own game? or just a clone from another common MMORPG to make Moneyfor a short period of time? Think about it.

This is not a WoW clone, just like every game it's not a clone because they have a hotbar and tiered progression. also, if you say this is a clone, isn't a contraddiction asking to clone instead a different game ? Because you feel FFXI it's better, a cloning is a cloning, period. And you have no guarantee nor the right to say it would sell better.
edit: say "i dont say it has to be XI-HD" don't change the fact it's what you asked. Also, "but it should more unique" following that sentence it's another contraddiction.

I will admit I miss the way some AF enhanced class abilities and as a BLM I definitely miss magic bursts(especially with ancient magic), but I don't really want to see a return of the stats that went behind making spells more effective. It was a real pain in the behind squeezing every last point out of enfeebling that you could just so enemies wouldn't resist sleep/silence/whatever.

Tell me what makes this game different to WoW without Mention the....
Fates
One Character and all Jobs
We have FF Classes/Jobs
Could you explain it a bit more? since the Oding and Behemoth gear is "ilevel 50" there is no use for it in the endgame part.

Do you realize all the FFXI stuff it's not something new ? Similar features were rampart in the past, and FFXI meshed together like this one did.
Just to point out, the same could be said for WoW too: it didn't invented anything, it just massified and made more modern tons of feature from the past MMO.
SC were new in FFXI ? Nope, everquest already had.
WoW created skill trees and hotbars? No, they were around since the beginnings of MMO.
Open world HNM? Already done way before FFXI.
Istanced dungeons ? Always existed. FFXI had a lot, even dynamis was an istance.
Quest based progression ? you don't wanna know how it's old. This is probably the only thing FFXI invented, the mass open world grind to exp (and it had a lot of flaws, let's not forget)
Surprising, even open world events like FATE are very old as concept. They were first used in this way (i think, maybe there was even before) in warhammer, then re-used in rift, then again shaped in GW2 fashion.
Do some research and you'll see MMO have stealed from each other since after the first generation. The thing is, after they stolen they put their personal flavor in. For now, we have only the FF feeling and the armory system. More will probably come in the future, very probably in the first expansion. But pretending to use FFXI features and calling that create something different it's beyond delusional.

First instanced dungeon I remember came out with Everquest Lost Dungeons of Norrath (LDoN) if I recall correctly. (even hated them back then as well lol)Istanced dungeons ? Always existed. FFXI had a lot, even dynamis was an istance.

Quest based progression actually started oldschool back in text based MUDs, as did most of the other points you referred to as well![]()

The Realm had instanced dungeons and that came out well before EQ. I doubt that it was the first game to do so either.First instanced dungeon I remember came out with Everquest Lost Dungeons of Norrath (LDoN) if I recall correctly. (even hated them back then as well lol)

This is like asking what makes one action movie any different from another if you can't include things the actors, setting, and story.
They're both Themepark MMOs with SOME similar base mechanics. What makes them different is how it's all presented. XIV is VERY different from WoW.
That said, XIV is also VERY different from XI, and it shouldn't be forced into being more like XI, because it's not. XIV is it's own game and it shouldn't be forced into being what it isn't because a few people think XI was cool.
And, for the record, I played XI for a long time. Like, nearly 10 years. I really love and respect XI, but that doesn't mean I want to force XIV into being XI 2.0.
