Worrying about how other people get their gear is the least of this game's problems.

    I would love to do the each turn more than once a week. If there was a lock on gear after the 1st run of each turn that's fine with me and I'm sure with others. As it stands now I don't have anything to look forward to in the game each week except to log in cap myth and do coils. But knowing the DEV team they wont change it.

    Really dont see the issue with it being in the duty finder, if its level of difficulty remains the same what does it matter if a random group beats its head on turn 1 or 2? Those is endgame focused FC still progress further and get the gear.
    People are effectively picking up members via shout anyway, the community has basically made it's own DF for coil.

    I have no issue with it being in DF but the problem is the 99x thread that will spawn from it saying its too hard

    then square will nerf coil that is what I don't want

    edit: certain turns actually require coordination and shouts groups require deck out people and VoIP or they wont be invited

    The FC I'm in rotates members around for runs so that everyone gets a chance in coil, I myself cleared up to turn 4 today ( didnt complete turn 4 due to members time limits) you just need to find the right FC to raid with really

    I'm all for this. Suppose I'm in a static party, and I just got a good friend of mine to play this game. 3 weeks later he's all geared out, and ready for coil but can't run with him because my party does not rotate. I wouldn't mind running it with him, without the loot drop too.

    The people who will miss out the most are usually melee and non-bard DPS, due to the current accepted standard of coil party composition. Putting it on DF or allowing people to run multiple times with other people gives us a chance to help such people too.

    What you want is a per-class lock. That would partially solve the issue, and make everyone happier.
    Bad idea and will never happen. Same with tome cap per job. Both ideas are counter intuitive to us being able to play all classes on one character.

    Another problem is this, the people with more classes levelled get way more benefit out of it than those who don't have as many levelled. If you have four 50's you could run coil 4 times as much as someone who only has one 50. It's unbalanced and would just allows those with more time to get further and further ahead of other players. Considering that, you would need to be willing to have your drop rate divided by the amount of 50's you have.
