Vanya Gear Set...Not As Good As I thought?

On my server, the mats for Vanya run for 30-35k a piece, 9 of them is 270-300k. Having multiple crafts at lvl 50 makes Vanya + 1 easily crafted. To get the materia, spirit bond lvl 55 gear and convert it. Sell it or use it and you've made your own Vanya for 350k. It's significantly better than DL with materia attached and it makes you different than everyone else. You can also sell it back for waay more than what you spent crafting it when you get Allagan or Myth gear. Then you can get multiple relics with the tomes you saved too.It's a very logical investment to make.
I lvled BSM from 24 to 40 yesterday and will get 50 today to be able to HQ vanya silk without failure.

Honestly, I'm not big on crafting. I never have been in MMOs. So I make my money buy leve quests. I'm not loaded by any means. 3 mil gil is nothing in this game at this point with repair bills, teleportation fees, etc. I'f I'm going to spend the money, I was also trying to find a guide of what can be melded to it and what's a waste. As stated before, I don't want to buy the materia, see that the stat is already max, and have wasted a meld.

I don't see how you can't see that an overmelded HQ Vanya set has better stats.

I'm looking for advice/help. This post was none of that and i regret wasting the 3 seconds to read your reply.

There are guides out there for what the stat caps are, if that's all you're concerned about. Also, you must have some mad money making skills to be able to get 3 million gil without any crafting/gathering...

Sell coke or potash. Once you get enough gil, you can also play the market. Buy low and sell high. Lastly, you can sell materia. No crafting or gathering needed. It's not that hard, but you have to be constantly watching prices of stuff.

Goldsmith Level 20 Levequest making the HQ brass rings for GS spamming it over and over again 99 times makes me a decent living in the game. and selling all my Materia III I SB to my gear helps.

I think that counts as crafting even if it's not endgame crafting... The materia is definitely a good money maker but I usually craft gear to spiritbond rather than buy it, I assume you did the same?

so far i have been. I only spam this one leve because its easy to hit HQ 99.9% of the time for me and the turn in is 3 times per 1 leve. I wouldn't go as far to say this is crafting. compared to my FC mates and others, this isn't crafting. It's not using a class properly IMO. But like I said, its easy and fast money I only have to do a 99 times a week (i only do it until all leves are gone then wait for restock) and it'll take me to 50 in no time to be able meld my jewelry and craft level 50 jewelry eventually. I SB Zircon choker/earrings/bracelet/ring over and over and over again for its the cheapest to obtain that is worth wearing in dungeons. considering Im just a level 40 GS. I spend 5K to buy the 4 piece of jewelry which i turn around and usually get savage might materia III out of it selling for 25K a piece, some savage aim materia III sometimes at 20K a piece. I make 75 to 100k every SB round I do, which i only do when myth tomes are reset on mondays. after I have all my AK or WP runs in, its back to crafting rings and doing the leve and such.
