    Schoolar - Ruin2 Blind use

I read in some other post about ruin2 is a usefull for schoolar because you debuff the enemy with blind for 10 sec. Now the questions:

    -This is really usefull?
-What it mends blind? 20% miss chance, or something like that for the enemy?
    -Is this affect bosses/primals?
    -Are you using it?

    Nope.

PLD has Flash which is an AoE Blind. No point wasting a GCD.

I find it useful because it pairs well with Energy Drain for a quick spike on damage. My Ruin II's are about 200 with my Energy Drain at about 350. All told, I can do 600 non-crit damage over the timespan of one GCD.

    That aint half bad.

Who cares about the higher MP cost? You are on a dungeon you are likely overgeared for, trying to quickly clear content, on a job that basically cannot run out mana unless you Succor bomb.

Cause no one does any content with Warrior or anything like that.

As far as the Blind affect I know it works on Titan so I assume it works on the other primals.

Yes, I believe it gives Melee abilities a chance to miss. By what amount, I'm not sure.

    Ugh.. again, USE YOUR HEAD.

Any respectable SCH is going to be DPSing in dungeons, you know what that means? That's right folks, RUIN II SPAM after you've applied the DoTs. So whether it's good to use Ruin II is completely moot because you're going to spam it anyway.

C'mon, use your fricking head before you type this crap. I knew someone would post this exact response.

Try taking your own advice. If you knew someone was gonna say it, then you should've already "responded" by saying what you just said here ahead of time, to avoid the comment.

Quit being a douche, geez. You're not Mr High and Mighty.

To answer the OP's questions... Yes to all 4. However, I would advise against spamming it and only applying it once, then going to normal Ruin and reapplying Ruin II again once blind wears off.

This is probably the best solution. Even at low levels, the casting time for Ruin is nearly equivalent to the GCD. With Spell speed gear, that is only more prominent. The only difference is if you deal damage at the beginning of the GCD or the end. Where Ruin II is superior (outside of the blind effect) is that it can be cast while moving, which in some cases is much more convenient. In those cases though, I'm typically getting ready for the one that didn't make it outside the red zone.
