Which brings up another thing I've found about the game. There are a number of boss fights that feel downright impossible if your healer isn't doing dps as well. I had a ton of trouble with the final boss of Qarn, of AV, and the jelly boss in Wanderer's Palace until the healer (sometimes myself) decided to help dps through certain phases of adds.
You definitely do not need healer help in Qarn if your DPS are good or if your tank helps out like I do
