    Pretty much this.

People often complain about options to obtain gear... here's your option if you choose not to take the potentially short road (CoB) with the best gear. I'm not sure what the OP is exactly focusing on though. Is the problem that the best gear is available for those willing to spend months of weekly repetition commitment? Or that spending months for it is too long?

You'd also need to be getting only drops for the one job twice per turn in all turns lol

    Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I'm focusing on that in order to obtain the best gear in the game you need to commit weekly for a bit over four months to repeat over and over the same content for no other reason than to get tokens.
I'm focusing on the fact that obtaining the best gear in the game isn't a matter of tackling down hard content, it isn't a matter of skill, it isn't a matter of progression, it's literally just being there four months without missing a week of very minor grinding.
I'm focusing on the fact that the hardest challenge in the game rewards you with gear that is usually weaker than the gear you can get by just not-quitting.
And I'm focusing on the fact that SE is using a weekly cap in order to slow down a player's progress because otherwise you'd actually see it for what it really is.
