A PLD should never be casting stoneskin, it's a waste of time, just like cure.

While Cure is a total waste of time and MP, and should't be crossclassed, a self casted Stoneskin is a 600dmg absorb that sometimes can make the difference between life and death, but this doesn't realy come into play until some fights much later into the game.

It definatly is very situational but Stoneskin on a PLD definatly has a use, and there isn't like there are much anything else to bring for crossclass skills.

Tbh, you'd be better off using one of the native PLD defensive cooldowns instead.

Being that defensive cooldowns are off the GCD it's not like you have to choose either or.
