I find the cap to be reasonable. I'd rather see prices for things go down a bit. But I'm fine with things the way they are too.

Don't you dare speak for me. I'm a paying customer too btw. Also, Ignored^-^
So much this. People could simply I don't know, challenge themselves by NOT obtaining the best gear if it could be grinded out so fast. But noooo, they have to be told by someone of a higher authority that, "No, you can't have everything now."
They call us childish Content Locusts, but yet they YEARN for someone else to tell them no instead of self-imposing it on themselves.

Crap decision SE
This is why most mmos are crap, its the player base....if you cant enjoy the game and want to feel "entitled" to everything, you should leave. Also, if you play this game like its a chore, you should leave mmo games all together, they are designed to be time-sinks and enjoyed with MANY other people. Very little comradery or even actual teamwork these days, only people that jump ship from one thing to "the next big thing". If you think everything should be handed to you, i suggest checking out elder scrolls online or wildstar.I keep recommending to the forums that they take a chill pill and enjoy simply spending time with your group and community rather than rush these things and fret over the current limits/pricing. Patience is a virtue that serves as an absolute necessity to your enjoyment of MMOs.

You didn't understand shiyo's post at all. You cannot go into coil turn 1, beat it on whm, then go do coil turn 1 on pld in the same week. Gear has nothing to do with her post. Some people actually WANT to play multiple classes in coil for the fun of it. It's not just about gear.

You speak of camaraderie and teamwork, then suggest people to get the hell out of your game unless they do it your way or the highway. You are most definitely another oddball to go on Ignore. This is why most mmos are crap, its the player base....if you cant enjoy the game and want to feel "entitled" to everything, you should leave. If Coil is the only thing to do in this game then and for as much as people like to tell us: "there's tons of content in ARR!" whenever a group of people bring up a lack of content...I guess some just weren't being honest :xYou didn't understand shiyo's post at all. I wish they would slow the game down, but not through things like this. If they really wanted to slow the game down, they would double (at least) the number of quests available and halve the amount of experience gained from them, along with making most of them repeatable, especially the fetch quests and kill # of mobs quests. That would be a good start.Given their stance towards speedruns you really shouldn't be surprised. Devs keep doing everything they can to slow the game down. Only reason WP and the primals got an increase to their tomes was to take stress of the servers for AK. Need to stretch out that content as much as possible.
Slowing down endgame should be achieved through making the content more challenging before anything else.
As much as people will hate to admit it - They should have just followed the way XI did it instead of the way every MMO does it these days and also never survives. XI kept content and gear relevant through the years. I think the real problem is they focused so much on relaunching with that quest based progression it just really slowed down end-game, since we even have dungeons you could skip that could have be retconned into end-game raids - Sunken Temple, Halatali and Cutter's Cry (unless that's for GC prorgession now, I was already max rank.)
There's just..so much empty space in this game in that the dungeons that exist you run 1 time and forget about them unless you want the gear from it or to help others. It's not bad what they did, it just..if the game starts once you hit 50 as yoshi says, it doesn't reflect that.
